Afeezee grew up between Ile-Ife and Lagos and began releasing music independently in 2020.
His records draw on Fuji, Yoruba highlife, and the alt-R&B he grew up on — songs about home, faith, distance, and the small politics of a shared compound.
Since his debut EP Cassava (2021), he has released four projects independently, playing shows across Lagos, Ibadan, and Abuja, with a growing listenership on Audiomack and Boomplay.
